Speed's test

Indications: - test for bicipital tendonitis Procedure: - with the patient standing or sitting, have the patient begin to bring arm upward in front with elbow fully extended & forearm upward (supinated) - at about 60 degrees of upward movement, begin to push the distal arm down & forcibly pronate against resistance Interpretation: - anterior shoulder pain is a positive sign
